You will probably notice that the escalators in shopping malls are often located with some distance apart. You have to walk through part of a level to get to the escalator you want. The idea behind this is that mall designers want you to walk around and look at more things. The more you see the more you are likely to buy. Interesting right?
Everyone goes to the mall; shopping malls are for everyone. Here you will meet people from different walks of life and different ages. However, studies show that teenagers visit the mall the most. For the majority of teenagers the mall is the first place they go alone without any supervision. Teenagers go to the mall because other teenagers are there and they have plenty of things to do such as eating, window shopping, movies and playing games.
Malls are a great place to go when it is cold and you still want to get outside the house. Local malls are the only place that some people can visit during winter without freezing. On the other hand some people avoid going to the mall if it is a bright sunny day. Hot temperatures do not entice people to go to the mall, which hurts sales at stores.
